Majority of those living in Dubai have day jobs and having day jobs means having lunch breaks. Having lunch breaks means that you're going to have to eat something which is almost always delivery since you snoozed your alarm clock way too much and woke up late. Sounds true? Don't worry, we've all been there.
Now some of us work in offices that are quite far from the city center which leaves us with limited food options save for maybe a simple grocery store with light snacks. But fear not, Dubai is home to several online delivery sites to make sure you'll go from grumbling to gourmet in a short span of time.

Talabat

The main advantage of Talabat is that they have live chat which allows you to get in touch with the people operating the website if in case you need clarifications with their services or if you encounter something wrong with your purchase.

UberEATS

No need for introductions - one of the UAE's best on-demand car services, Uber is bringing along the same quality service for food deliveries. Their website proudly states that the average time it takes to get your food from start to finish is 35 minutes. You can also pay with your Uber account for added convenience.

24h.ae

Simplicity is key in 24h. They have a highly simplified website designed to cater to your immediate cravings and they have promos all day for certain restaurants. You can also pay with your credit card which is nice.

Deliveroo

You probably know about Deliveroo when they offered Dh1 Pizza a couple of months back. Beyond that, Deliveroo is a quite a young service but they a lot of users are satisfied by what they do. Ordering with Deliveroo gives you a ticking clock which counts down until the time the food reaches your doorstep. Nifty!

Zomato

Probably the biggest of them all - Zomato is in truth a directory of almost every restaurant in Dubai. It has menus, photos taken by the community, maps and even community reviews so you know what you're ordering. Take note however that not every restaurant listed on the site has delivery.
