Ibrahim Moosa, Head of Human Resources Development Section in the Personnel Department, said the courses come as part of municipality's efforts to equip its staff with advanced skills in their respective areas of service.
Mr Moosa said the courses this week include "Updating geographical data" and "Principles and basics of documentation and archiving."
He said the first course, "Updating geographical data," to be participated by a group of employees from different sectors of the municipality, would be held at the Dubai Central Laboratory from 5pm to 9pm from July 24 to 28.
Mr Moosa said the second course, "Principles and basics of documentation and archiving," would be organised in two batches from 5pm to 9pm from July 25 to 26 and July 27 to 28 at the Municipal Council Hall and would be participated by 20 employees each in both the batches who represent different sections and departments of the municipality.
