Are you holidaying during the Eid Al Adha? If so, don't hesitate to express your 'love for UAE', by adhering to safety procedures and rules, which guarantee you security abroad.
This is the best way to express one's love for own country, according to Colonel Dr. Ibrahim Al Dabal, General Coordinator of the Khalifa Student Empowerment Programme ('Aqdar').

How to prove your loyalty towards UAE
> Respect laws of country you are visiting
> Behave in a respectful manner
> Maintain a positive reputation of UAE
> Stay away from suspicious places, illegal gatherings
> Volunteer for charitable causes
The initiative was recently launched by the Aqdar to enable citizens, residents and the UAE community at large, to express their love towards the country both at home and abroad.
Al Dabal summarised the various ways in which a travelling citizen can express their love for their country. He pointed out the importance of respecting the laws of the countries to which they travel, confirming that conducting one's self in a respectful manner demonstrates the UAE's love for other countries around the world, and maintains a positive reputation of the UAE regionally and globally.
Al Dabal pointed out that the initiative will distribute 100,000 leaflets listing travel tips and guidelines, which will be distributed to passengers at all the country's airports. The key message of the initiative will be how to take precautions and have a hassle free trip.
Al Dabal pointed out that this step is an attempt to join hands with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a joint effort to promote awareness around security and safety, and create a culture of information sharing, that reduces risks.
He also highlighted the importance of saving emergency numbers on phones, to be able to contact the UAE embassy or the relevant party, in case of emergency.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has launched a service called Twajudi via its website. Citizens who register for the service will benefit from travel advice and emergency contact numbers, which they can use in the event of an emergency. Foreign emissaries can then coordinate their safe return to the UAE.
