Shaikh Saif honours two Indians for returning the money to Shabia police station after finding it from Al Khalidiyah area.
Lieutenant-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, honoured two Indians on Wednesday in recognition of their integrity. The two had returned Dh60,000 to the Shabia police station.
The two honourees, Bijo Kumarkrishna Pillai Vijayan and Sonny Thomas Thomas, found the money in a street in Al Khalidiyah area and gave it to the Shabia police station at the Capital Police Directorate, in order to return the money to its rightful owner.
The honouring ceremony was attended by Major-General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director-General of Police Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police; Major-General Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director-General of the Headquarters Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Maktoum Al Sharifi, Director of the Capital Police Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ; Brigadier Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Directorate; and Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Minister; and Lt.
