Six people were injured in two accidents took place within three days, a senior police officer has said.
Colonel Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic at the Dubai Police, said a car driver was injured in an accident on Monday at 2pm on the Emirates Road. The accident occurred when a pickup vehicle crashed into a minibus on the road shoulder. The driver of the pickup was rushed to the Rashid Hospital.
In another accident on Saturday, a bus overturned on Hissa road, injuring one person seriously and four others moderately. Col. Saif said the accident occurred when the bus made a sudden turn and deviated off its track, hitting the door of a heavy truck, causing it to overturn.
