In a comment made on the occasion of UAE’s participation in the celebrations marking the International Children’s Day on November 20, Shaikha Fatima, who is also the chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Maternity and Childhood, stressed that several unprecedented initiatives of the country had played major role in guaranteeing child welfare and ensuring the advancement of the rights of child.
Speaking on this occasion, Nora Al Suwaidi, Director of GWU and chairwoman of the executive committee of the Supreme Council for Maternity and Childhood, said the rights of children were duly guaranteed and protected in the UAE, thanks to the efforts of Shaikha Fatima. —
