Dr Hanif Hassan Ali, former minister of health, has been appointed as Director and Chairman of the board of the Geneva Institute for Human Rights (GIHR).
The Geneva Institute for Human Rights (GIHR) is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organisation based in Geneva, and concerned in promoting human rights through world dialogue.
The GIHR’s board of directors is chaired by Dr Hanif Hassan Ali, and Dr Ibrahim Al Sous, Secretary-General; Dr Mohamad Buti Al Shamsi, treasurer; and Emad Zuhairi, Executive Director.
The GIHR’s advisory board includes experts in human rights and pertinent fields.
