ABU DHABI — Free medical camps have been set up in Khairpur district of Pakistan’s Sindh province on the directives of UAE Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
A team from his office organised medical camps and mobile clinics in Khairpur district of Sindh province to provide free medical care to poor people in the remote areas.
The camps were organised in coordination with the Pakistan Government.
More than 4,000 patients have benefited from the mobile clinics in Khairpur district, more than 1,000 kilometres from capital Islamabad.
Bekhit Ateeq Al Rumeithi, director of activities of Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s office in Pakistan, said the team had set up three field hospitals in the district.
