Similar greeting messages were sent by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to Bahraini and Qatari leaders.

The UAE leaders also sent cables of congratulations to President Mamadou Tandja of Niger on his country’s Republic Day and to President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan on his country’s Independence Day.

Bangladesh greeted

Shaikh Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammed also sent cables of greetings to President Iajuddin Ahmed of Bangladesh on the Victory Day of his country.
