The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has said that the forecast for the next 48 hours is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with clouds increasing over west of the country, inland and in some southern areas, with a chance of light rain during the daytime.
A statement from the NCMS also said to expect moderate winds in general, which may freshen at times, causing blowing dust and sand over exposed areas. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, 15-25 Km/hr over land and 18-28 Km/hr over sea, reaching 38 km/hr at times, it added.
The NCMS's outlook for the next 48 hours is for fair to partly cloudy weather, with light to moderate winds. Relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early morning over some coastal areas, and the sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
