Dubai - Motorists are urged to take alternative routes to avoid long delays.

Heavy congestion was reported on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road on Tuesday morning, Dubai Police said.
On its official Twitter page, Dubai Police reported an accident at 8:55am on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road before Al Muhaisnah bridge towards Sharjah, and cautioned motorists to drive with caution.
"Kindly be extra cautious," the police said in a tweet.
Motorists are urged to take alternative routes to avoid long delays.
According to Google Maps, an accident was also reported on E311 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near Industrial Area 15 causing huge tailbacks towards Dubai. Traffic jams were observed on E311 Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road around Al Nahda area towards Dubai.
