Upset about receiving a BMW for his birthday, an Indian man decided to push the luxury car into a river. The whole feat was captured in a video which was posted on social media.
The video shows the car floating away on a river in the northern Indian state of Haryana. According to a BBC report, the man threw the car away because he wanted a Jaguar instead. The man is reportedly the son of a local landlord.
While it was submerged, the car got stuck on a bank of tall grass. He later tried to save the car.
Police are investigating the incident, local media reported.
BMWs cost around 3.5 million rupees (Dh180,000 approx.) locally, with Jaguars costing about four to five million rupees (Dh258,000 approx).
