Dubai's Zabeel Palace was once again lit up for a royal wedding, but this time around His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, had something extra special planned for his daughter's wedding. Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum got married to Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan in an Al Akhd ceremony on September 19, 2019. Also watch: Sheikh Hamdan's wedding ceremony Sheikh Khaled is a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family. Then later in the month, a grand reception was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre- attended by Rulers, Crown Princes and dignitaries from across the UAE. But with all Emirati weddings, this one too has a host of ceremonies, with one of them being held on Oct 4, 2019 (Friday) at the royal palace.
The palace was lit with laser lights - beaming into the Dubai sky. An Emirati group performed a traditional dance at the palace entrance. The royal ceremony ended with a spectacular fireworks show as grand as any fireworks display in Dubai.
