Shark Island, Sharjah
A small island located in the east coast of Khor Fakkan, Shark Island is an amazing spot for water activities like snorkelling, diving or just simply sunbathing on the beach and enjoying a nice picnic with a great view of the open waters. This rocky island's waters are home to a variety of aquatic life such as turtles, sharks and stingrays, which is just a short boat ride away from the eastern coast of Sharjah.
Additionally, Shark Island has stores made available where visitors can rent their diving and snorkelling gears. Furthermore, the area also has restaurants conveniently located along Khor Fakkan beach, offering a wide selection from traditional Arabic food to seafood.
Wadi Tayyibah, Fujairah 
Go for an adventurous hike along the Wadi Tayyibah trail located in the city of Dibba Al Fujairah, where hikers can enjoy a mountainous scenery and see the natural pools formed within the mountains.
Wadi Tayyibah is a popular hiking trail that is 20km long and starts from Masafi to Dibba and is inhabited mostly by local farmers and villagers. Before venturing off through the trails of Wadi Tayyibah, be sure to come prepared with the right equipment, particularly essentials such as enough food and water for the hike, navigation tools, a first aid kit, and of course, some sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
Kalba, Sharjah
Kalba is an exclave of Sharjah, and despite being a small town, it is filled with exciting new places to explore where visitors can learn and experience more about the natural wildlife and heritage of the region.
There are a number of fun activities to do in Kalba such as kayaking in one of the oldest mangrove forests in the UAE. The small town is also filled with educational and exciting spots to visit, such as Kalba Conservation Reserve and Kalba Bird of Prey Centre, where you can learn about the different species of Raptors. 
Al Ain Zoo, Al Ain 
Another interesting and educational place to visit is the Al Ain Zoo, where visitors of all ages can have a fun experience learning about different types of species while at the same time spreading awareness on how animals and their habitats are treated in the wild.
Al Ain Zoo houses over a range of 4,000 different animals such as chimpanzees, jaguars, southern white rhinoceros, African white lions, Arabian oryx, hyenas and much more. The general ticket price for adults is Dh30 and Dh10 for children above the age of 3 years.
Warner Bros. World, Abu Dhabi
If you are looking to escape the heat this summer, visit Warner Bros. World for a thrilling and adventurous experience, all under one roof! Before officially opening, Warner Bros. World has long been anticipated by many theme park goers and Warner Bros. fans across the region. The massive indoor theme park located in Yas Island in Abu Dhabi is a must visit destination in the UAE.
The indoor amusement park consists of rides inspired by the number of movies and shows produced by the motion picture company. This includes The Flintstones, Tom and Jerry, Green Lantern and Superman. Additionally, visitors can purchase souvenirs from official Warner Bros. gift shops, as well as dining in restaurants that are inspired based off on characters such as Yogi Bear and Batman.
