The sustainably designed ecotrail to also feature a 250m wooden boardwalk and a 1.8km guided dune-based path
Speaking to Khaleej Times, Qadhi Saeed Al Muroshid, Director-General of Dohms said a circular had already been issued to the departments concerned, announcing the decision with immediate effect. He also said there was no change in the payments for acquiring a new or renewing an existing health card for both UAE nationals and expats. “Any person (UAE national) coming to a hospital or health centre for treatment is obliged to pay for the health card,” he said. “The waiver applies only to UAE nationals coming for treatment at walk-in clinics only that are mostly located near the emergency sections in most hospitals and health centres,” he explained.
He also said that in case a UAE national went for treatment with an expired health card, he would only be charged for the renewal of the health card and not for his treatment. Al Muroshid also clarified that the circular had been misinterpreted by some sections of the Press, announcing that health cards for UAE nationals would be free from now.
