Google has released a stunning timelapse video of Dubai from 1984 till 2016.

The video, released on YouTube, shows the rapidly changing coastline of Dubai.

The first frame of the video shows barren land, a creek and an unimpressive coastline, but developments in land and sea can be seen taking shape as the years quickly go by.
