Imagine flying robots, walking robots equipped with artificial intelligence, talking robots and cool new innovations all in one building. Sounds like the script of a Back to the Future movie, doesn't it?
The Museum of the Future which will be opening in 2018 is going to be the centre of futuristic ideas, innovation, and it will be the one-stop destination for inventors from all over the world.
To make this museum of the future even more futuristic, part of the museum will be built using 3D printing technologies.
The Museum of the Future was opened to the public earlier this year in February to whet the appetites of the Dubai's residents in a temporary exhibition at the World Government Summit.
The permanent site is planned to open on December 2, 2018, in the Emirates Tower area near Sheikh Zayed Road.
Launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Museum will become an integrated environment empowering creative minds to test, fund and market ideas for futuristic prototypes & service.
"The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. While others try to predict the future, we create it," he added.
And that's not all - it will also hold simulations and interactive demonstrations to introduce people to the magic of technology.
The museum will also update itself as and when newer technologies are invented.
