A 2012 interview of Team USA swimmer Michael Phelps' has surfaced after all these years, where he answers the most 'pressing' question people have been asking for years - do swimmers urinate in the pool?
The question could have arose from the fact that since generally people or 'non-Olympic' swimmers, urinate in the pool - mostly young children - to avoid dashing to the toilet and enjoy their swim.
So do 'disciplined Olympics swimmers' maintain the 'sanctity' of the pool during competition?
Teammate, Ryan Lochte, had reportedly said he occasionally urinates in the pool.
