DUBAI — The Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department has called on school and university students to participate in its e-competition dedicated to design the most appealing web site, as part of its Gitex 2008 activities. Students taking part in the competition will have to submit their entries by October 15.
Lt Colonel Khalid Al Ruzuki, Assistant Director for IT Systems, said the competition was aimed at encouraging the youths to enhance their creativity. “There is no doubt that most of the pioneers of the digital world and the individuals who had the most input on the future of this pivotal industry were very young and talented. We hope that this year, we offer students the chance to show their skills and capacities.”
To participate, one must be a student and must submit one original web site in Arabic.
