The Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation has provided financial support for the wedding of 100 Bahraini couples aimed at alleviating their expenditures and helping them to start a stable family life, which will contribute in the development and progress of the society.
Ahmed Shabib Al Dhahiri, Director-General of the Foundation, who participated in the marriage ceremony said that as per directives of Shaikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Shaikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, the foundation offers support for the needy segments of the society and the youth, who are wanted to get marry in and outside the country, particularly in Bahrain.
He explained that the support provided by the body for the GCC youth in the shape of mass weddings, is a landmark and important initiative for the Gulf communities, where it has become one of the cultural phenomenon we are proud of, as they deepens the spirit of righteousness, cooperation, communication and compassion for the benefit of the individual and the group in the bloc.
For his part, Bahrain’s Parliament Speaker, Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani in a statement during the ceremony hailed the UAE assistance through its foundation, stressing Manama’s keenness to boost sisterly bilateral ties.
