Days in advance, the restaurant shuts its usual catering service to specialise in sweets and cater to families that celebrate the festival. Go big and go lavish with these colourful, delicious Diwali thalis and treats at local restaurants.
* Mint Leaf of London, DIFC
Renowned for its contemporary Indian dishes, enriched with spices and flavour - Chef Pradeep Khullar has created the special menu. Delectable starters, mains, and desserts are combined to make up the eight-course menu, with highlights including their signature dishes such as the Watermelon Slider, Wild Mushrooms & Mathri Tak-a-Tak, and Dum Vegetables Biryani.

* Farzi Café, City Walk
Tuck into delectable bite-sized desserts like Rasmalai Tres Leches, Carrot cream, Rose petal net; warm Semolina Banana cake with Saffron and Pistachio ice cream; and Jalebi caviar, Saffron foam, and condensed milk with exotic Nuts, amongst other treats.

The chefs have designed a three-course set menu with 12 dishes for you to enjoy the festive season. The table will be presented with an assortment of traditional savoury snacks like Dahl Vada and Shammi Kebab. The main courses feature a variety of home-style delicacies from Patra ni Macchi to Butter Chicken and Lamb Biryani to Zafrani Veg Biryani. In sweets, sample Gulab Jamun, Gujjia, Kulfi Platter, etc.

A mix of Bungalow's favorites as well signature dishes created for the festive season - the menu includes starters like the Lentil Soup, Bungalow Salad, Vegetable Samosa, Harissa Chicken Tikka and Hariyali Fish Tikka. Main course options offered are the Mushroom Truffle Cottage Cheese Steak, Buratta Butter Chicken, Mutton Rogan Josh, Dal Makhani, Dal Tadka and Tawa Baigun. Topped off with a selection of desserts such as Chandrka with Orange Rabri or Chocolate Gulab Jamun cheesecake Shikanji.

The Indian restaurant is offering a lovely menu created by Chef Asif Khan. It includes traditional dishes like Murg Banjara, Kalonji Dum Aloo, and Shahenshahi Veg Korma.

If your idea of festivity is to eat a big, fat thali then the restaurant's Diwali special offering is for you. The place promises an experience encompassing unlimited food with a cosy atmosphere, generous service, and at an unbeatable price.
