Woman jumps to death from 5th floor of Dubai hotel

According to police sources, the Operations Room of the Dubai Police was informed about the incident on August 25. The police rushed to the site and found the body of the 30-year-old woman, identified as K.G., lying on the ground.

The police said that two friends of the woman told the police that she was going through a state of depression after her divorce recently.

They had tried to help her overcome it and she was under medication, they told the police. They said that K.G. sent messages to both of them before a month saying that she was going to commit suicide. So they rushed to her and rescued her. But she was charged by the police with suicide attempt. She was released from the police custody after submitting her passport.

They said that her mother was staying with K.G. but she went back to her country even after they warned her about her daughter’s condition.

The body was transferred to the General Department of Forensic Medicine and will be handed over to relatives after completion of legal and administrative procedures.
