The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority recently organised a workshop to raise awareness on the mid-day work ban at its headquarters in Mohammed Bin Zayed City. A number of officials from various food joints in the emirate participated in the programme.
The workshop shed light on the precautions business owners and managers must take, in order to ensure safety of workers during summer.
It stressed the need to strictly follow the ban on work from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, in order to prevent any effects of being exposed the sun.
The programme shared with participants several health points to be take care of in order to minimise the diseases during summer.
The mid-day work ban was started in July 15 and will continue until September 15.
