Yacht catches fire at Dubai Marina, firefighters put off the blaze

During the early hours of Thursday at 7 am, a fire was reported on a yacht at Port Rashid in Dubai Marina. 
On being informed about the blaze, the Dubai Civil Defence team rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. 
Dubai Police alerted about the incident on their Twitter page.
Mahmood Hamad, the spokesperson of the Dubai Civil Defence, said the yacht was totally gutted in fire. "The firefighters battled the blaze and prevented it from spreading to other boats. No one was injured," he said.
