Zayed initiative launches campaign

The Zayed Giving Initiative has launched a campaign “Your Zakat is their Lives” as the second humanitarian initiative in Ramadan. The campaign aims at receiving the Zakat to be allocated for the treatment of needy patients.

The campaign aims at supporting the humanitarian efforts of the international giving campaign launched under the patronage of Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of General Women’s Union, the Family Development Foundation and the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood. The council offers the best therapeutic, surgical and preventive services for children and elderly people locally and globally with the participation of a group of senior UAE and global doctors and surgeons under the supervision of UAE Humanitarian Hospital.

The campaign also aims at encouraging different society groups to donate their Zakat money for the treatment of children and the elderly people, which promotes social cohesion between different groups of society.
