The Pakistan consulate in Dubai on Wednesday held an 'Open House', where the Consul-General Ahmed Amjad Ali listened to the issues and grievances of the community members.

The 'Open House, or khuli kachehri (open court), was arranged on the direction of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.

Keeping Covid-19 protocols in mind, Pakistani community members raised their grievances with the Consul-General, who guided them and assured them of the best possible relief at the earliest.

Ahmed Amjad Ali briefed the participants about the purpose and objectives of Khuli Kachehri. He talked about special initiatives taken by the government for improvement in consular services that included the start of e-visas in the missions.

He also briefed the participants about the ongoing Covid-19 situation and encouraged them to vaccinate themselves.

The Pakistani community greatly appreciated the steps taken by the Consulate to provide a forum for them to share their woes and expressed gratitude for immediate relief.
