One Dubai expat just scored a grand slam as he won a luxury car for just watching a tennis match.
Dubai Duty Free conducted the Finest Surprise draw during the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships and the prize was a luxurious Audi Q7 3.0T (Orca Black). The car costs around Dh330,000.
The draw was immediately made after the awarding ceremony of the Men's final of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2017.
The winning ticket no. 0965 in Series no. 1652 was drawn by the world No. 1 and champion of the tournament, Andy Murray, who claimed his first Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships title. The lucky winner is Mr. Venkatesha Thimmarajappa, a 50 year-old Indian national living in Dubai and a regular participant in Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise and Millennium Millionaire promotions.
Andy Murray was accompanied by Ramesh Cidambi, COO, Dubai Duty Free, Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President - Marketing along with K. Rajaram, Chief Executive Officer of Al Nabooda Automobiles LLC and Enrico Atanasio, Brand Director, Audi Middle East.
Tickets for the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Finest Surprise promotion was available throughout the event running from 19 February to 4 March which added an unfailing excitement to all visitors and tennis fans.
