Mercedes-Benz Vision Gran Turismo replicas to be sold: reports
If the rumours are true, five Mercedes-Benz Vision Gran Turismo replicas will be up for grabs.
Rumours have surfaced that five Mercedes-Benz Vision Gran Turismo replicas will be created for public sale.
The concept car, commissioned by Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, was to appear exclusively in Gran Turismo 6. A full-scale static model was unveiled at last month’s Los Angeles auto show.
Now media outlets, including the BBC and Top Gear, are reporting that the American J & S Worldwide Holdings plans to build five replicas.
The company will apparently create two Vision GT’s for the Middle East, two for Europe and one for America, media reported.
Reportedly, J & S will charge $1.5m for GT cars, which have not been commissioned by Mercedes.
Mercedes told Top Gear there were no plans for the company to build this car in reality.
