Veteran actor Aditya Pancholi has been charged with a case of 'assault and exploitation' by the sister of a famous A-list actor.
The police began the investigation after they received an email regarding an incident that happened 13 years ago.
The Versova police is trying to find evidence to register an FIR against Pancholi, PinkVilla reported.
On May 12, Aditya Pancholi gave a statement saying the complainant's lawyer threatened him with a false rape case.
Pancholi filed a defamation case against the sister of the renowned actor.
After the defamation case, the actor claims that he was threatened with a false rape case.
"Thankfully, I have recorded the 18-minute meeting with him. The video in the form of evidence has been submitted to the court and to the police as well," Pancholi told Mid-Day.
