Recognised as one of the most fashionable female politicians in Pakistan, Hina Rabbani Khar seems to be inspiring the Bollywood bunch too.
Indian actress Divya Dutta is gearing up to play the role of an Indian politician Ramandeep in her upcoming film Irada in Patiala. According to a report in The Times of India, the character reflects the style and behaviour of Pakistan's former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar.
Khar made headlines for her chic fashion choices when she visited India for the first time in 2011.
Divya was quoted saying,
"Although it wasn't deliberate, the look is really attractive and yes, has similarities to the way Hina dressed and conducted herself. When I landed on set in getup many commented on how I looked like Hina and we decided to keep the look since the reactions were so positive.
Ramandeep is a Punjabi woman of grit and determination who is alternatively loud and subtle. It didn't require much prep because the directors Aparna Singh and Nishant Tripathi, knew exactly what they wanted. I simply followed their vision."
