Priyanka Chopra to be godmother to Meghan Markle's baby?

Since Meghan is very close to Serena Williams and Priyanka Chopra, she might also consider them for the role.

The royal feud between the 'Fab Four' - Prince Williams, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seems to have escalated especially after Harry and Meghan skipped Kate's birthday celebrations.
Kate Middleton's 37th birthday on January 9 saw friends gather at their Norfolk home including William's old friends Thomas van Straubenzee (a godfather to Princess Charlotte) and James Meade (another one of Charlotte's godparents), along with his wife Laura, reported The People.
Amid reports of tension between the Royal couple's have swirled, there are also rumours that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may not consider William and Kate as godparents of their first child, according to reports Express.co.uk.
However, the decision to exclude Kate and William may also be because according to traditions Royals very rarely go for direct brothers or sisters. And similarly, Kate and Prince William chose distant relatives to be the godparents of their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.

It is reported that Meghan and Harry might be considering someone else from the Royal family or an outsider to take up the role. Royal commentator, Andrea Boehlke, said, "We've been talking about Jessica Mulroney, she has to have a shoe in. She's Meghan's best friend."

Boehlke added that since Meghan is very close to Serena Williams and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, she might also consider them for the role.

According to Hello!, Priyanka and Meghan's friendship dates back to the former Suits star's pre-Harry days, having first met at ELLE's Women in Television dinner a few years ago and remained close ever since. Priyanka had attended Meghan's royal wedding on May 19 last year and also took to Instagram to gush about her friend's big day.
"Every once in a while there is a moment when time stands still . that happened today. You my friend were the epitome of grace, love and beauty," Priyanka wrote on Twitter for Meghan on her wedding.
