Salman in Kashmir

Salman Khan on Saturday arrived in the Kashmir Valley to shoot for his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan which also stars Kareena Kapoor.

The actor’s maiden visit to Kashmir was delayed due to the recent incessant rain, sources in the film unit said. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film’s shooting will take place at many picturesque locations across the Valley including at the famous resorts of Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Kashmir is the last leg of the shooting for the film, of which more than 70 per cent has been shot at various other locations. The director wants to shoot a few action scenes, a war sequence and a song in the Valley and the film crew reportedly plan to stay there for a month.

“Kabir wanted to start shooting in the first week of April, but the shooting got delayed due to the rains in the Valley,” the sources said.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made for Khan’s stay and stringent security would be put in place wherever the film’s shooting would take place. PTI
