Vin Diesel landed in Mumbai this morning to a grand welcome in true Maharashtrian style, complete with dhol and tilak. He is on a packed schedule in India to promote his upcoming film xXx: Return of Xander Cage, releasing exclusively in India this Friday.

He seemed pleasantly surprised with the rousing reception when he stepped out of Kalina airport. Women dressed in red sarees and yellow turbans were waiting to receive him. What followed was dhol and tilak ceremony, a tradition practiced in Maharashtra.
