85 UNB Staff received 'Certificate in Bancassurance' from EIBFS

UNB was the first bank in the UAE to get their Bancassurance sales team certified in Bancassurance by the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS).
EIBFS designed a special programme on certificate in Bancassurance. The programme focusses on ethics, business of Bancassurance, selling insurance, the philosophy of insurance, customers' needs and mapping the product to meet customers need.
Ali Khaled Alhashmi, senior vice-president and head of Human Resources and Organisation Development of UNB, said: "We are delighted to tie up with EIBFS on this programme that facilitated the certification of 85 UNB staff from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. The training will also enhance the experiences of the sales team in the insurance industry as well as the Bancassurance field and provide strong qualifications to the staff as they provide ethical and appropriate advice to customers."
"This initiative is in line with UNB's strategy and tagline 'The Bank That Cares'. We believe that such trainings and certifications are beneficial to the customers as well as the staff who are trained, to provide the best solution to our customers," Alhashmi added.
The training was held on May 2017 for three UNB groups that took place in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. It is worth mentioning that one of the key modules in the training focused on ethics especially in handling Bancassurance products. Through practical case studies and role plays the training offered an excellent opportunity for enhancing banks customer service in line with the banks vision. UNB continues to pursue a continuous knowledge enhancement process of their employees thereby inculcating a habit of providing the right solution to customers.
