Smartphone-controlled washing machines, a fridge that shows you what's inside it to inform you what need to replenish, a coming-soon 8K television and daily classes - all you need to know about the Samsung "galaxy" in one place.

Samsung Gulf Electronics unveiled its new Multi-Experience Store in Dubai on Tuesday, determined to raise the ante in the customer experience sphere.

The state-of-the-art showroom - the first of its kind in the Middle East and Africa - is inspired by the South Korean bellwether's Connected Living principle, with areas dedicated to the most important aspects of today's digital world.

The showroom was inaugurated by Chung Lyong Lee, president of Samsung Gulf Electronics; Deepak Babani, executive vice-chairman at Eros Group; and Lebanese star Cyrine Abdelnour.

"As a transformative brand with a proven legacy of delivering meaningful innovation, we acknowledge the need to constantly evolve and be omnipresent as we embark on digitally enhancing our customers' lives," Chung said.

"We were the first partners of Samsung... the stores may have kept on changing, but keeping superior customer experience in mind has always been the top priority," added Babani.

"Experience stores offer highly-engaging platforms for customers to enjoy increased accessibility to the brands they know and love."

Samsung aims to redefine customer experience and interaction. The store centres around key experience aspects, including gaming, photography and a full suite of connected devices, in line with the dynamic and changing trends of modern-day consumers.

The range of connectivity offerings are interactively displayed through an array of in-store customer experience highlights.

The store will also hold a customer education programme, the Galaxy Workshop, daily at 7pm.

The company is also showcasing its newest 8K TV, expected to be out early in the second quarter, the period in which Samsung normally releases its new cycle of TVs.
