The 13th edition of the annual global mega petroleum exhibition is scheduled to be held here from November 3 to 6. It is probably the first and rare platform for the internationally renowned experts and top executives of the giants in the petroleum industry who will keenly monitor the situation.

The presence of the energy ministers from some of major oil producing countries in GCC region will certainly add to the importance of the debates at the event, according to a Press release.

ADIPEC billed as the second largest oil and gas show in the world, will bring together over 1,500 participants from 55 countries who will showcase the latest technologies in the oil and gas sector at this year’s ADIPEC. General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council, will officially inaugurate ADIPEC on November 3.

The theme of the conference is “Working together to deliver Sustainable Growth: Innovative Teams and Technology Development.”

The newly opened Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) which will play host to this year’s event boasts of 55,000 square metres of exhibiting space indoors, 28,000 square metre concourse area as well outdoor space, dedicated conferencing space and more than 20 meeting rooms.

The entire area will be allocated to ADIPEC 2008 which has grown double in size compared to last year’s event, according to the officials of the dmg world media who are the organisers of the grant event. Over 200 international speakers including the top executives of the globally leading oil companies will be addressing the conference.
