KUWAIT - Kuwait’s largest refinery, the 450,000 barrels per day Mina Al Ahmadi, plans two scheduled maintenance shutdowns, involving two crude units in January and a larger unit in March.
The official at state-run Kuwait National Petroleum Co., which oversees the Gulf Arab state’s downstream sector, told Reuters two crude units of about 120,000 bpd each will be shut for maintenance for about four weeks starting around January 9. The planned outage involves maintenance works on the largest of the sprawling plant’s crude units.
