Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, said the completion of three residential towers at Al Habtoor City is scheduled for the second quarter of next year. Al Habtoor also forecasted the sale price for The Residence Collection to rise towards the end of August and the beginning of September this year.
The Residence Collection in Al Habtoor City consists of 1,460 apartments ranging from one to seven bedrooms, including loft style units, simplex penthouses, duplex penthouses and VIP penthouses spread over four floors.
Al Habtoor said: "I anticipate the prices to increase as we are not a project selling off-plan. We started the sale when construction was already under way and our buyers are invited to preview the apartments. We anticipate all three towers to be fully completed by end of the second quarter of 2017. We have already reached 45 floors, surpassing the 41-storey Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City hotel, the tallest of the three hotels within the Hotel Collection."
"The residential project's location and amenities are second to none. We will be the first project to be completed on the banks of the Dubai Water Canal," he added.
Residents will enjoy added value from the Hotel Collection and Leisure Collection within the one million sq ft development. Residents will have an array of retail and leisure facilities at their doorstep, including a boulevard, marina promenade, a 35,000 sq ft swimming pool podium, indoor and outdoor tennis academy, helipad and gardens.
Al Habtoor City will also be home to La Perele, the region's first permanent theatrical production by Dragone - a cultural creation company.
Housed within two 74-storey towers and one 52-storey tower, the apartments include 12 penthouses as part of The Ultimate Collection ranging from 9,472 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft. Three VIP penthouses are spread across four floors, with two floors of private entertainment space.
