Atlas Jewellery, EMKE Group sign leasing pact

DUBAI - EMKE Group, a leading retail business Group in the Gulf, and Atlas Jewellery, a leading gold jewellery chain have announced the signing of a multimillion dirham leasing agreement.

The agreement is part of the expansion of both the Groups and covers the leasing of showrooms for Atlas Jewellery in a number of Lulu Hypermarkets and Lulu Centres spread across the Gulf, said M M Ramachandran, Chairman, Atlas Jewellery Group

"At EMKE Group we always take extreme cares in our associations. Customers place their trust in us and expect only the best from us. When we decided to open Lulu Village, we wanted to associate with Atlas Jewellery, the jewellery chain that is trusted by millions. The successful relationship has acted as a catalyst in we extending our relationship to this long term leasing agreement," said Yusuf Ali M.A. Managing Director EMKE Group expressed his delight in the association with Atlas Jewellery Group.

The leasing agreement signed by the two leading groups encompasses Atlas Jewellery opening up showrooms at Lulu Hypermarket, Doha, Qatar, Lulu Hypermarket, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, Lulu Hypermarket, Fujairah, Lulu Centre, Ras Al Khaimah, as well as the upcoming Lulu Hypermarket, Ajman and Khalidiyah Mall, Abu Dhabi. We are happy to associate with the EMKE Group primarily because they have given a new dimension for shopping in the Gulf. The sheer number of customers in all Lulu outlets is ample testimony to the fact that Lulu, just like Atlas Jewellery, is the first choice for people," Ramachandran added.
