Dubai-based airline flydubai has cancelled its flights to one airport in Bangladesh on Saturday and Sunday due to adverse weather conditions and the temporary closure of Chattogram airport (CGP).

All flight operations at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram had been suspended from Saturday morning as Bangladesh braced for cyclone Mocha, which is expected to become "very dangerous".

An Emirates spokesperson told Khaleej Times on Saturday afternoon: “Our flight schedule is operating as per normal. If anything changes we will let you know.”
Etihad flights to Dhaka (DAC) are not impacted, added the spokesperson of the Abu Dhabi-based carrier.
Both Emirates and Eithad have flights to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. Announcements from other UAE-based carriers are awaited.
Cyclone Mocha, one of the most powerful cyclones seen in Bangladesh in nearly two decades, is predicted to make landfall on Sunday near the Bangladesh-Myanmar border.
