Video captures terrifying moment before a passenger jet nearly crashes

While hundreds visit the Maho Beach every day to witness the scary flight landings on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, March 7 was a different day.
The Princess Juliana International Airport on the island of Saint Martin has earned a reputation for having one of the world's scariest runways. Last week, a Westjet Boeing 737 almost crashed into water as it was approaching the runway.
The Boeing was so close to the water that it can be seen creating turbulence on the surface. However, the pilot immediately takes corrective measures and goes for a second approach. The plane made a safe landing, it has been reported.
