He also expressed his appreciation of the dynamic leadership of Mohammed A. R. Galadari, chairman of the Galadari Group, in achieving this success.

"Despite the political disturbances in the region, the sale of the brand continued to grow aggressively. The increase in the sales is evident from a report released by Allied Domecq for the years 2002-2004", he said in a performance analysis.

John Varghese made a special mention of Manoj Loya, Manager-Gulf, Galadari Ice Cream Company (GICC), who played an important role in crossing sales targets throughout the region. "He has been a great leader and motivator, and has slowly but steadily created a team of managers across the Gulf to take the brand of Baskin Robbins to the next level," he noted. "In the past two years, Manoj Loya has shown the maturity and leadership qualities that are required to lead the brand to greater success in the years to come. He is ably supported in the endeavour by V Balakrishnan, General Manager, Finance and Administration, GICC," it was noted.

John Varghese said he was very confident that under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Galadari, Manoj and his team will take the brand to higher levels of success.
