Corporate Connections (CC), a global network of business owners and C-Level executives is set to launch its first chapter in the UAE. The business networking platform that has helped many entrepreneurs and senior executives around the world is headquartered in US, and has active chapters in Canada, Switzerland, Japan, India and Mexico.
Chirantan Joshi, national director, Corporate Connections UAE, said: "Corporate Connections members meet twice a month to build relationships and trust in a structured and tested format which ultimately helps them to get tangible and intangible personal and business benefits."
The target profile for CC is a business owner or a C-Level executive who is in business for over 5 years and a top line of over $5 million. The group has four primary goals: increasing business opportunities through qualified introductions; upskilling members through Learning and Development events; peer advisory through master mind sessions; and building global connections by giving access to CC members in other countries.
"The UAE is a country with visionary rules and progressive minded business leaders with entrepreneurial zeal. Networking helps to accelerate business growth through business opportunities and recommendations. Active networking increases your circle of connections and thus your opportunities for growth," said Joshi.
Joshi, who owns the E-Movers Group of Companies, says he has been benefited immensely from business networking. "I have been very active in the business networking space.I have gained tremendously from relationships that I have built."
"Networking accrues tangible benefits in terms of business opportunities but also builds your social capital - friends, goodwill, emotional intelligence, peer group. I have benefited
personally and our E-Movers Group companies have grown at an accelerated pace due to the tangible and intangible benefits that I have received," he added. - sandhya@khaleejtimes.com
