Dell launches Customer Solution Center in UAE

The new center is designed to provide customers with easy access to the whole portfolio of Dell Technologies' solutions.

Dell Technologies on Monday launched its first Customer Solution Center in the UAE, with the aim of providing its customers in the region with a state-of-the-art technology hub where they can run proof of concepts and test new solutions.
The hub has been designed to provide an environment wherein world-class IT experts will collaborate with customers to explore, test and prove end-to-end solutions and share best practices, that can help drive business outcomes and create a competitive advantage. In addition, the Customer Solution Center global network enables remote connectivity, which offers the ability to engage customers from any location. The center also provides customers with easy access to the whole portfolio of Dell Technologies' solutions and ensures that they receive appropriate expertise and resources at every level to achieve their business objectives.
Speaking in a media session after the launch, Mohammed Amin, senior vice president for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Dell EMC, said that the hub is also a way for the company to be closer to its customers, and help increase its market share in the region. "We are always looking at expanding on our investments in the UAE, and the region. We spend just over $4 billion annually on R&D alone. The UAE is a very exciting region for us to be in right now, since there is a very young population that is looking towards the future. The country also has a very forward thinking leadership with a vision for the future; nowhere else in the world do you have a minister of artificial intelligence like in the UAE."
"The strong appetite for investing in new technologies and innovation is very visible over here in the UAE," added Marius Haas, president and chief commercial officer at Dell EMC. "There has been a lot of discussion on how digital transformation will play out and how organisations can accelerate their operations by adopting new methods and applications. It is our aim to be a core strategic partner of choice for such organisations here in the UAE and the rest of the region."
According to recent research by Dell EMC designed to provide insight into the state of IT Transformation, 81 per cent of respondents agree that if they do not embrace IT Transformation, their organisation will no longer be competitive in their markets. In addition, 88 per cent of respondents say that their organisation is under pressure to deliver new products and services at an increasing rate.
"We are very focused on business outcomes in key sectors," said Aongus Hegarty, president for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Dell EMC. "The innovation that we see taking place over here actually happens in the customisation of technologies, and this is providing a great opportunity for small and medium sized enterprises since they are much more agile when it comes to adoption."
