Called AIMS International, the new office will have its offices at the Dubai International Financial City (DIFC) in three to six months and promises to be the "biggest executive search hub" in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
According to Sandra da Silva, managing director of Talent Management Consultancy, her company has created the new regional recruitment hub with the Association for International Management (AIMS) to fill the gap in the recruitment of the best talents.
She said there is a need to source talents from across the world as businesses in the Middle East and Africa are seeing tremendous growth, citing the construction, oil and gas and banking and financial sectors as having the best potential. "There is a huge demand for qualified professionals with in-depth domain knowledge," she stressed. She said this is where AIMS, one of the world's largest executive search consultancies, and Talent, a leading recruitment specialist in the Middle East, can make the difference. Having 85 offices in 80 countries and a 2006 turnover of Dh200.54 million (40 million euros), AIMS has built a solid global client base for the past 15 years.
AIMS International will service over 45 multinational companies across the EMEA region as well as clients other clients worldwide, da Silva said. She added that the new company has a global strategy that applies to the three business regions of Americas, Asia-Pacific and EMEA. "We offer our clients the opportunity to access the details of potential candidates by using a sophisticated intranet software in real time," Da Silva said. "This is a revolutionary way of reducing time lag in taking care of a client's requirements." Roger Cater, president, AIMS, said that aside from being a job recruitment provider, his company has likewise evolved into an adviser on office staffing and employees compensation, among others.
