Dubai InterContinental to be renamed Radisson SAS Hotel
Galadari Group - owners of the Dubai InterContinental Hotel — have entered into an agreement with the internationally renowned hotel chain Rezidor SAS, to manage this landmark property under Radisson SAS brand as a first class 5 Star hotel from October 1, 2006.
Dubai InterContinental Hotel is the first Five Star Hotel established some 34 years ago in Dubai and for over three decades has been known for its very high standards of customer service and its superb restaurants.
Rezidor SAS Hospitality is one of the fastest growing hotel management companies in the world and currently has 267 hotels comprising over 50,000 rooms in 49 countries.
The group aims to develop some 7000 hotels by the year 2015. International operations of Rezidor comprise — Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts, Regent International Hotels, Park Inn, Country Inns and Suites along with the Goldpoints Plus Loyalty Programme for frequent hotel guests.

The hotel has 12 superb restaurants, which are ranked among the best in U.A.E., each providing a unique culinary experience to the residents and visitors alike.
Galadari further stated that throughout the transition period, the existing partners, Intercontinental together with the new partners, Radisson SAS, are fully committed to maintaining the high standards for which the hotel is famous for.
