The bundles are being offered leveraging the combined expertise of Emirates Post, the region’s leading postal corporation and Empost, UAE’s national courier company. New services include improved PO Box rental and EziMail bundle services.

“Our goal is to offer value for money to all corporate segments. We have put together bundles from which companies can choose depending on their requirements. The bundles offer significantly improved value for money compared with the alternatives in the market, if the bundle elements were priced separately,” EPGH Chief Commercial Officer Ibrahim bin Karam said.

Under the new plan, Emirates Post and Empost have integrated two key services — PO Box rental and EziMail delivery — to form new bundles that are more convenient for the customer. Five bundles have been created to enable companies to select a suitable category, depending on their mail volumes, ranging from PO Box Light, the most basic of categories, to EziMail Gold, which will offer 50 per cent discount on unaddressed mail up to 40,000 pieces in addition to other benefits.

The new offering is part of the company’s efforts to launch new services that will bolster Emirates Post and Empost as a one-stop public services centre and meet diverse customer needs. As of January 1, 2011, all Emirates Post and Empost corporate customers will benefit from a new range of five different bundle offers designed to meet corporate customers’ needs, complemented by a host of value-added services, including free courier coupons, mailbags, direct mail discounts and SMS notifications.

“Empost is determined to take a proactive approach towards improving and better serving its customers. Our objective has always been to become the unmatched, premium, complete end-to-end service provider in the distribution, focusing on the needs of our customers at all times. We are confident the new bundles will cater to the customers’ delivery needs whilst delivering cost-effective solutions that offer greater value,” Empost chief executive officer Sultan Al Midfa said.

P.O. Box rental charges for individual customers have not been changed. However, individuals can also subscribe to the bundles after paying the fees, if they feel the need for such services.

“The combined expertise of Emirates Post and Empost will ensure superior product ensuring high efficiency and speed,” Emirates Post chief executive officer Abdullah Al Ashram said..
