Galadari Trucks and Heavy Equipment (GTHE), a subsidiary of the diversified Galadari Brothers, has signed an agreement with the Sweden-based portable air compressor manufacturer Atlas Copco for the distribution rights of their products in the UAE.
An agreement was signed by Mohammed Galadari, Director of Galadari Brothers, and Tuluy Yetis, General Manager Middle East for Power Technique at Atlas Copco, in the presence of Mohamed Yahya Kazi, Director and Group CEO of Galadari Brothers.
Samer Khalid, CEO of the Heavy Equipment Division of Galadari Brothers, also attended the agreement-signing ceremony in Dubai on Sunday.
"We, at Galadari Brothers, are proud to add Atlas Copco to our portfolio of more than 40 renowned and reputed international brands that we have introduced and helped grow in the region. We appreciate the ethos of innovation, sustainability and ethics that Atlas Copco embodies and are proud to be their partners. I wish them and our Heavy Equipment Division the best, in growing together in UAE," said Mohamed Yahya Kazi.
Both the companies are optimistic about the outlook of the local oil and gas, industrial and contracting sectors which will help the two to prosper in the coming years on the back of this new deal.
Tuluy Yetis said Atlas Copco, based in Sweden since 1873, is a world leader in portable and station electric compressor market with a market share of up to 60 per cent.
"We are working with Galadari Brothers on other equipment as well, and now is the time to go for our strongest product and give it to a strong hand to increase our market share and customer satisfaction. There is a huge potential in the UAE market for these products, especially in the oil and gas market. Also, after-sale and services market is also very important and we trust Galadari Brothers," Yetis said after the agreement-signing ceremony.
Samer Khalid, CEO, Heavy Equipment Division, Galadari Brothers, said: "Recent reports have talked of the growing potential of the construction and its allied sectors for the 2019-23 period. We, at the Heavy Equipment Division, are gearing up for this upward swing. Atlas Copco have been our partners for decades for a number of their products. Our strong sales-network shall proudly present this new world-class and world-leading range of portable air compressors to our esteemed clientele." - business@khaleejtimes.com
