Gargash Enterprises has marked down 2015 as the year of the SUVs, with the launch of three new Mercedes-Benz SUV models, at their Sheikh Zayed Road Showroom.
The all-new GLE Coupé, GLE and GLC are designed to fulfill every car enthusiast's craving for sport, comfort and style, with a vision to deliver the highest standards of every automotive element. The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupé is available at a starting price of Dh534,000, while the GLE 400 and the GLC 300 will be valued at starting prices of Dh308,000 and Dh251,000 respectively.
Karl-Johan Sandesjo, general manager of Gargash Enterprises, said: "It's an incomparable form of leadership; Mercedes-Benz SUVs have always proven to be powerful, yet elegant at the same time. They make great off-roaders, but do not lose the charm and grace that make heads turn. Similarly, the GLE Coupé, GLE and GLC have immense capacity of standing steady on any terrain and also possess the most striking design, being technologically advanced at the same time. We look forward to achieving an extraordinary response on these new arrivals."
The GLE Coupé is the first Sports Utility Coupé from Mercedes-Benz, and combines the modern features typical of this family of vehicles with the versatility and robustness of an SUV. The GLE 63 meets the highest of standards in terms of performance, design and comfort with a 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The powerful heart of the vehicle - the AMG 5.5-litre V8 bi-turbo engine - beats even faster in the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupé generating 410 kW (557 hp) and 700 Nm torque. The M-Class is reborn as the GLE, and is here to extend its lead in every arena of driving. The highlights of the new GLE include considerably more appealing front and tail ends and extensive measures which make new benchmarks. The GLE 400 4MATIC is powered by a direct-injection twin-turbo V6 engine with spray-guided combustion. This engine produces an output of 333 hp and 480 Nm of torque. With the start of the new GLE generation, all models are equipped with the nine-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission as standard.
With the introduction of the new GLC, successor to the GLK, Mercedes-Benz has broken completely new ground in the mid-size SUV segment. The GLC 300 engine produces 245 hp and 370 Nm torque. A revised all-wheel-drive powertrain, outstanding aerodynamics and intelligent lightweight design are the primary reasons for the high efficiency and demand of the all-new GLC.
