Shaikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, presented the award to Naveed Ansari, general manager of Tecon.
Tecon started as a local electrical company in 1975. Its reputation for service, safety and quality has seen it grow into one of the UAE's largest suppliers of electrical products and services. Today, the company has grown beyond the shores of the UAE with offices in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar, and has become a regional player.
It professionally services the construction industry of the UAE and now the region.
The company works with architects, interior designers, lighting and MEP consultants and contractors providing end-to-end solutions to its customers. As a total solutions provider, Tecon also offers design services and supply of relevant material to major projects.
"Our success is purely attributed to our professional staff. We recruit the finest senior designers and engineers and continuously run robust training programmes" said Ansari. Tecon has established a training centre in its office in Dubai and offers regular technical trainings to its customers.
Since 2013, Tecon has also collaborated with AN Wallis from the UK, manufacturers of earthing, lighting protection, exothermic welding and surge protection products.
